Description
Paulina Stasik (b.1990, Poland) lives and works in Krakow. She graduated from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Faculty of Painting. The artist mainly works in painting. In her work, she is interested in exploring the human being, specifically memory and transience. Stasik is interested in the body as a medium conducting spiritual, sexual, and cultural energy.
The heroines in Stasik’s work are connected with each other, they form a coherent whole, even though the landscape that surrounds them often doesn't look like a welcoming or comfortable place.
