Prouldly launching Her Clique Artist Residency, featuring Isabella Russo Siqueira, a Mexican–Brazilian visual artist, whose practice explores painting through gesture, material transformation, and the relationship between the body and the landscape, often incorporating natural elements such as water, sunlight, wind, and rain in her work.
The residency in Portugal extends the artist's exploration by placing her practice within a different Atlantic landscape shaped by centuries of migration, exchange, and elemental forces. “Working in a different climate, light, and atmosphere allows my paintings to register new encounters between the self, the land, and weather, making visible how intangible heritage travels through movement, memory, and the layered crossings that already inhabit the body.”
The residency will culminate with the Russo Siqueira's solo exhibition which will open on April 24.
